Meet Our Staff

Loren Kirkwood

Loren is born and bred in North Queensland, attending university right here in Townsville, at James Cook University.  Following university, Loren registered with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as both an accredited exercise physiologist (AEP) and an accredited exercise scientist (AES), consolidating her knowledge and skills through her employment in musculoskeletal rehabilitation.  Loren continued her professional development by acquiring further qualifications in dry needling therapy, expanding the services that she is able to provide for her clients.  Loren has a keen interest in the health and physical activity of pregnant and post-natal women and through this interest, has completed her honours studies in this area. 

Loren continues to show motivation to offer her clients a range of different treatments by recently obtaining further qualifications in pilates and is looking forward to providing these services at Inspire Exercise Physiology and building on this knowledge.

Jenna Sullivan

Jenna is from Victoria but has adopted sunny North Queensland as her home. She has joined the team following completion of a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology (Clinical) and Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at James Cook University, and is accredited with ESSA.

Jenna is passionate about health and fitness and creating an environment to help people achieve their goals, whether young or old, and of varying abilities. 

Jenna is dedicated to enabling pre- and post- natal women to safely exercise and is committed to getting children active from an early age, assisting their development and skills or to meet the current physical activity guidelines. 

She enjoys the challenges associated with neurological conditions and developing creative ways for inclusive exercise, and is proud to contribute to enhancing a person’s quality of life. 

When facilitating her client’s in hydrotherapy she never feels like it’s work and enjoys the varied range of clients and conditions who benefit from aqua therapy.

Jenna enjoys the lifestyle Townsville and surrounds offer and is often out fishing on the weekends or frolicking in the cooler waters at Magnetic Island.
